Looking Back

A vast majority would relate with the excitement that came with learning while growing up. Though we sang the alphabets, and crafted models from clay, the classrooms represented a place of wonder. What happened to this excitement? 
Memorization replaced creativity. Our schools, once a heaven of curiosity, gradually became centers for "regurgitation."

Things got bad really quick

Across Africa, especially in Nigeria,
  •   Institutions stopped trusting their indigenous graduates while employers began to complain, "They have certificates, but can they do the work?"
  •  We witnessed cases of medical students who never touched a skeleton, engineering students who never built a single working prototype, and artists who never had a chance to explore digital design.
  •  We've created an education system that reads about bridges but rarely builds one.
